Wildflower Seeds Episode 1

Because otherwise Episode 29 of WOSF, and indeed entire parts of the series, won't make much sense, like, who are these people, and what was some of the stuff going down in Utah anyway?

Wildflower Seeds is the immediate prequel that covers from the time of Hadrian's injury at his brother's hands on September 23, 2025, one month per comic, until we depart for Utah in March 2026.

I referred to it as my Alfred The Great Era at the time due to the many parallels with my notable ancestor's life, and the Chesterton poem got me longing for Catholic life even before we left if I'm honest. When we publish the Bible journals you'll see what I'm talking about. Although honestly it was as early as the moment I was allowed to be any sort of Christian again, when we joined the Mormons in late 2023. Underground SSSaints newsletter excerpts, which are in continuing publication, show that bit of foreshadowing, and also more backstory about Hadrian's brother and father.

And speaking of foreshadowing, also in progress is Hadrian's own spiritual biography backstory, Franciscan Foreshadowing. I am handling the art rendering right now due to his mobility limitations and our technology limitations, but the storytelling is entirely his own and it's beautiful.
