They could not rush us out of that chapel fast enough once we said the word 'homeless'.

Anyone who wants to talk about how much good the Mormons do for the poor and disabled is getting an earful from me. It's all propaganda. I've never seen them do a thing, for anyone but themselves (as individuals) the entire time I was with them. Prosperity Gospel all the way. I was showered with love and respect and popularity as a miserable, abused trophy wife with a pretty house to throw lavish feasts in (see Underground SSSaints comics), and the second I started to choose Christ over cash the "friends" started to drift away and things kept getting uglier and uglier until I hit rock bottom and there was no one there to pick me up except Jesus himself.

And if any Mormons want to argue about it, they are welcome to do so via the donation links on our main site! Go ahead and prove me wrong - seriously! Please! My son would love another trip out west - with a shiny new gurney and less rusty van!!

We had one more stop to make, because she practically begged us, but this experience really hit hard and we never attended a Mormon church again. For which we are now eternally grateful!
