# WOSF Episode 29

Saint Thomas Aquinas is the official patron of this comic, despite it being named after Saint Francis of Assisi. Or maybe they've agreed to share. 

My original ideas for how to write about my experiences in a way that is honest but also as respectful as possible, and will hopefully lead people of the Mormon and other faiths to convert to Catholicism, were formed while writing in front of the exhibit of Aquinas in his scriptorium in the John Paul II Eucharistic Center museum at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (JPII gets a look in later as a Saint of the Day, too!). My original conversion from Anglican to Catholic took place at a parish named for Aquinas, so he's been looking over my shoulder for a while!
