November was the worst. I thought October was bad, but I thought I had months to sell up and sort out my life, and plenty of help available. Turned out to be weeks, and no help. Our local church leader froze me out and warned everyone to stay away from me, including the missionaries. I stopped attending. At the very last, desperate minute, I found refuge with an elderly couple who had left the Mormons after only a brief time, but stayed in touch with us. They were contacted by the leader and told not to house us, but they ignored him. The downsides turned out to be that they were hoarders with too many pets and some dangerous neighbors who were into drugs. The upside was that we didn't have to try to live on the street in an Ohio winter! The hospital social worker was hostile to Christians so we got no help there. I spent the entire month until Thanksgiving alone in my rundown houses, getting colder and lonelier and more frightened and barely clinging on to Jesus.

This November we are facing homelessness again unless we can raise enough money for a security deposit on an apartment. Please donate if you can!
